Mist OS — Free Android Custom ROM | AOSP Based

Mist OS is a free, open-source Android custom ROM built on AOSP (Android Open Source Project). It delivers blazing-fast performance, zero telemetry, over 100 customization tweaks, and monthly OTA security updates across more than 20 officially supported devices. Whether you want a clean Android experience without Google apps or a fully featured setup with GApps, Mist OS has a build variant for you.

What is Mist OS and Why Choose It?

Mist OS is a community-driven Android custom ROM project focused on three core principles: performance, privacy, and deep customization. Unlike stock Android firmware shipped by manufacturers, Mist OS removes all pre-installed bloatware, disables telemetry by default, and gives users full control over their Android experience. Built on AOSP, Mist OS stays close to stock Android while adding meaningful improvements for power users and privacy-conscious individuals. The project is also known as Project Mist OS or project-mist-os on GitHub.
